Killaloe OPP Weekly Release

During the week of the 2 May 2016, to the 8 May 2016, there were 86 calls for service, including the Whitney Detachment.

There were two motor vehicle collisions, one was animal related.

There was one domestic dispute call for service during the week of the 2 May 2016, to the 8 May 2016. There were no domestic related incidents involving criminal code charges.

Motor Vehicle Collision

On the 04 May 2016 at approximately 10:39 a.m., Killaloe OPP Constable Jason Golds responded to a single vehicle collision on Highway #28 in Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan Twp. A Silver Honda lost control and veered off into the ditch. One female was transported to the hospital by ambulance with serious injuries. The incident remains under investigation.

Stunt Driving Charge

On the 08 May 2016 at approximately 6: 29 p.m., Killaloe OPP Constable Jason Golds was operating moving radar on Highway #41 in Bonnechere Valley Twp. A Lexus was observed travelling at a high rate of speed. As a result, 20 yr. old Agshin ALIZADA from Woolwich Twp. has been charged with Stunt Driving. The accused was issued a summons to appear in court. The licence was suspended and the vehicle was seized for seven days.
