(Killaloe, ON) – On Monday April 17, 2017 at approximately 9:46 am, members of the Killaloe OPP responded to a robbery call at Shumway’s Smoke Shop, Kokomis Inamo, Pikwakanagan Ontario First Nation, near the Village of Golden Lake.
A male suspect wearing a white mask entered the store holding a can of bear spray and ordered the store clerk to the rear of the store. The suspect assaulted the clerk with the spray and then fled the scene in a vehicle with an undisclosed amount of money. As a result of the spray being utilized, the clerk was treated and released by paramedics at the scene.
The male has been described as 6 feet, 180 lbs, wearing a black hoodie and white mask. Police are seeking a second male who may have been involved in this case who is described as having a round face and short hair.
Police are seeking further information on a black four door Grand Am or Grand Prix that may have been used by the suspects to flee the area.
