Kids Throw Objects From Overpass On To Highway

(WASAGA BEACH, ON.) – On August 2nd, 2013 at approximately 8:50 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report from a motorist on Hwy #26 that youths were throwing unknown objects onto the northbound lanes of this highway from the Fairground Road overpass. Fortunately no motorist reported that their vehicle had been damaged in this senseless act.

This act is Mischief under the Criminal Code of Canada and if convicted you could face a stiff fine or incarceration.

An unexpected object hitting a fast moving motor vehicle could cause the driver to lose control and collide with another motor vehicle or another object causing injury or death.

One thoughtless act can cause unimaginable pain. Next time THINK!
