(Cavan-Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that was speeding on Highway 115 shortly before 1:00am this morning.
The male operator of a vehicle was stopped by police and found to have been drinking. Kevin Trevor ROOPNARINE (age 31) of Hamilton, ON was arrested and charged with:
Driving with more than 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, ON August 04, 2016.
