(KENORA, ON) Members of the Community Drug Action Team (CDAT) with assistance from the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), Kenora Drug Unit have charged two Kenora men with drug related offences. On Monday May 26, 2014 CADT and OCEB officers observed two males involved in a suspected drug transaction. Both men were arrested and a small amount of Hydromorphone pills were seized.
As a result of this investigation, 25 year old Harley MCLEOD of Kenora has been charged with Trafficking a Schedule I Substance contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000. He has been held in custody for a bail hearing.
54 year old Douglas NETZEL, also of Kenora has been charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance Contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substance Act and Fail to Comply with a Probation Order Contrary to the Criminal Code. He is to appear in Kenora court on June 3, 2014.
