(THESSALON, ON) On December 12, 2016 shortly before midnight the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a complaint regarding a male that had been driving a motor vehicle and was under the influence of alcohol.
As a result of the investigation, Kenneth Edward GREER, 55 years of age, from Thessalon, Ontario, was arrested and charged with:
Care and Control While Impaired (Alcohol), contrary to section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code;
Care or Control over 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood, contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Blind River, on January 5, 2017.
