(Prescott,Ont.) – Between Monday January 30th, to Sunday February 5th 2017, the Prescott Office of the Grenville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 81 general occurrences. Of these occurrences, 25 were in Edwardsburgh /Cardinal Township, 15 in Augusta Township, 31 in the town of Prescott and 10 on highway 401 and 416.
On February the 4th, at approximately 11:30pm, an Augusta Township resident, from Lord Mill’s road, reported a damaged vehicle parked in front of her residence. The vehicle departed that location and was observed by police, driving on County road 26, in Augusta Township.
The 27 year old male driver, Shane MORGAN from Brockville, was charged with impaired driving. He received a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days. The accused will appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville on February the 24th, 2017.
