Keith William IRWIN – No Insurance

(TAY TOWNSHIP) – On May 3, 2016 at 9:18 p.m. a member of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a motor vehicle on Talbot Street in Port McNicoll, ON.

Upon speaking to the male driver the officer detected a smell of alcohol. The officer made the demand for a roadside test. The test resulted within the ‘warn range’ which comes with a three day driver’s licence suspension. The 2001 Toyota Camry was also towed from the scene.

Keith William IRWIN (age 60) from Tay Township has also been charged with:

Operate Motor Vehicle No Insurance contrary to the Compulsory Automobile insurance Act

Fail To Surrender Permit for Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on July 21, 2016 in Penetanguishene, ON.
