(Napanee, ON)- On June 1, 2016 at 3:33 p.m. an officer with the Napanee detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) checked the driver of a parked vehicle outside an establishment on Jim Kimmett Boulevard, Town of Greater Napanee.
Police could detect an odour of alcohol on the driver’s breath and also from within the vehicle. Officers seized open alcohol from the vehicle and subsequently arrested the lone male seated behind the steering wheel.
Charged with care or control of a motor vehicle while impaired and over 80 mgs. is 50 year-old Keith CUNNINGHAM of Ameliasburgh Township.
He was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Napanee on June 21, 2016.
