A Pelican Zest Kayak was stolen from a backyard in Arnprior. The kayak was stolen overnight on October 10 from a residence on Van Dusen Dr. There are no suspects.
One woman is facing theft charges after stealing several gift cards from Wal-Mart in Renfrew. Store security contacted the OPP after the female employee was observed on video stealing gift cards which were to be given to customers who purchased a certain cell phone. Kelsey RITZ 19 of Renfrew was charged with theft under $5,000. She was released on an appearance notice for court in Renfrew on October 17. Provincial Constable Sylvie Caouette investigated.
A cement lawn ornament was stolen from a residence on Tierney St in Arnprior. The 50-lbs cement rooster was taken overnight on Wednesday October 16.
Several vehicles in Renfrew were left unlocked and thieves helped themselves to items inside those vehicles. Vehicle owners are reminded to remove valuables from vehicles and lock vehicles when not in use.
