Katrina WILKINSON-SLOSS – Drinking And Driving

(SUDBURY, ON)- On February 17, 2016, at approximately 9:00 p.m., members of the Sudbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Highway 69, in the Township of Burwash.

After officers arrived at the scene, it was determined that the female driver had consumed alcohol. A roadside breath test was administered. The driver registered a Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) in the “Warn Range”.

As a result of the investigation, Katrina WILKINSON-SLOSS, 29 years of age, from Walden, was issued an immediate roadside driver’s licence suspension for seven days.

The vehicle the accused was operating was towed to a local towing impound.

The female driver was also charged with: Fail to surrender licence, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.

The OPP is reminding motorists that there is no safe amount of alcohol or drug consumption when driving. Anyone who suspects a driver is driving while impaired is urged to call police by dialing 9-1-1 immediately.
