(INGERSOLL, ON) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a driving complaint on King Street in Ingersoll shortly before 2:00 p.m. on December 27, 2015.
Several complaints were called into the OPP regarding a silver Honda Civic driving erratically on the 401 Highway eastbound. The vehicle was observed travelling well below the posted speed limit on the highway, swerving within lanes, driving on the shoulder, and nearly striking a passing transport truck and a bridge overpass. The dangerous driving was reported by several concerned motorists in Elgin and Middlesex Counties before it exited the highway in Oxford County and was located by officers and arrested on Cherry Street in Ingersoll.
The lone female driver, 45-year-old Karin SCOTT, of Ingersoll is charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
