(TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH) – At approximately 8:30 am, June 8, 2016, Officers of the Nottawasaga Detachment, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the scene of a two vehicle collision on Boyne Street, south of Gray Avenue, in Alliston. One of the vehicles involved was a school bus.
Investigation reveals the school bus was stopped at the railway crossing on Boyne Street, when it was rear-ended by a sliver Honda CRV. The school bus did not have any students on board at the time of the crash.
The driver of the CRV, 38 year old Karen DAVIS, of Alliston, has been charged with Careless Driving.
There were no injuries reported as a result of this collision.
