(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) On January 17, 2015 at approximately 7:40 a.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was patrolling Wellington Road 18 west of Wellington Road 7, Centre Wellington Township. A male driving a 2006 Pontiac was observed travelling well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar travelling south bound at 136 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Justin STUCKLESS age 22 of Fergus is charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is to appear in Guelph Court on March 4, 2015 to answer the charge.
