(RENFREW, ON) – The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged one male with several charges related to a sexual assault that was reported to police on Thursday July 14. Police believe there may be other victims and are urging others to contact them.
The investigation began when a victim reported to officers that she was sexually assaulted in late June by a male known to her. Justin MACGREGOR 22 of Renfrew was arrested and charged with sexual assault, and overcoming resistance by administering a drug. He was held in custody for a bail hearing on Monday July 18.
Officers believe there may be other victims. Anyone who has information in regards to this individual is urged to reach out to the Renfrew OPP. Officers are available to speak to victims or witnesses by calling 1-888-310-1122. Detective Constable Philip Holmes is leading the investigation.
