PROJECT PARADIGM IS A DRUG ENFORCEMENT TEAM COMPRISED OF OFFICERS FROM THE ONTARIO PROVINCIAL POLICE DRUG ENFORCEMENT UNIT AND OPP DETACHMENTS IN EASTERN ONTARIO
(Renfrew County, Ontario) – On September 3rd 2015, members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit, and Renfrew OPP Detachment executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at a residence on Caruso Street in Arnprior ON.
Quantities of cocaine, cannabis marihuana and methamphetamine were seized, along with paraphernalia indicative of drug trafficking.
Jun CLAREMONT (21) of Arnprior ON was arrested and charged with the following:
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking of Schedule I substance CDSA 5(2)
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking of Schedule II substance CDSA 5(2)
Breach of Probation of the Criminal Code 733.1(1)
Claremont was held for a bail hearing and is set to appear before a Justice of the Peace on the 4th of September 2015 in Pembroke ON.
