(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – On August 23, 2016 shortly before 11:00 p.m., members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a disturbance at apartment building on Hillside Drive in the City of Elliot Lake.
Police attended the apartment building and could hear a woman yelling and making banging noises for no apparent reason. Police spoke with the woman to caution her but she continued to yell.
As a result, Julie Poulin, 37 years of age from Elliot Lake, Ontario, was issued a provincial offence notice and charged with: Create Noise Disturbing Inhabitants, contrary to City of Elliot Lake By-Law 99-66.
