(PRESCOTT, ON) – On the 22nd of June 2016 a member of the Ontario Provincial Police East Region Highway Enforcement Team (ER-H.E.T) conducted a traffic stop with a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt travelling westbound on Hwy 401 near mile marker 716 for Highway Traffic Act violations.
Investigation at the scene revealed that the lone male driver was in possession of various forms of Cannabis.
The officer located and seized, 33gm of Cannabis resin (oil), 2 marijuana plants, 3 marijuana cigarettes, 139 gm of fine cut marijuana, and 45 gm marijuana brownies.
Judson Dowe, 62 years old of Whitby ON., was arrested and charged under the Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA).with:
Possession of Cannabis Marijuana – over 30 grams
Possession of Cannabis Resin – over 1 gram
He was released on a Promise to Appear at Ontario Court of Justice, Brockville for the 5th of August 2016.
