(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand County detachment has charged a 57 year old woman with drinking and driving related offences after investigating a single motor vehicle collision at a Hwy #6 and County Road #55, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Wednesday July 30th, 2013 at approximately 7:00 pm Police were called to the Hwy #6 address after a brown 2009 Chev car had left the road way and entered the ditch.
While speaking with the 57 year old driver the officer observed signs of impairment by alcohol led to her arrest.
Charged with Impaired Driving and Driving over the legal limit of alcohol is 57 year old Joyce SMITH of Haldimand County, ON. She is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
