(CITY OF TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON) Members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint on December 21, 2013 at approximately 4:02 p.m.
Following the complaint, police located the suspected Chevrolet Blazer that had been reported to have caused damage to a road sign in Casey Township. A traffic stop was conducted to check the status of the driver.
Further investigation resulted in Joshua MANDERSTROM, 25 years of Temagami is facing charges for Over 80 – section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code and Driving while under suspension – section 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act.
Accused will appear in Haileybury Ontario Court of Justice on January 21, 2014.
