(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) -On January 4, 2014 at approximately 1:56 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Festive R.I.D.E. team were conducting a R.I.D.E. Program on Highway 7 and Woolwich-Guelph Townline, Guelph-Eramosa Township. A male driver of a 2013 Honda entered the check point and showed signs of alcohol consumption. A roadside screening device was administered which resulted in a fail.
The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Joshua BERNARD age 23 of Kitchener has been charged with Over 80 mgs, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 21, 2014 to answer to the charge.
