(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On August 20, 2016, at approximately 12:08 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario provincial Police (OPP) were alerted to a suspicious male sleeping behind the wheel of a motor vehicle.
Officers located the vehicle, a black Chevrolet pickup truck, parked on the north side of Nine Mile Road, between Clarke Road and Highbury Avenue, with the engine running. Officers determined the male in the driver’s seat had been drinking alcohol. He was arrested, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests.
As a result of the police investigation, 22-year-old Joseph CLOUDT, from Middlesex Centre, Ontario, has been charged with care of control over 80 mgs, and care or control while impaired (alcohol), contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on October 3, 2016.
