(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On Tuesday, August 20, 2013 members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, OPP Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Belleville City Police Street Crime Unit, OPP K-9 Unit, and members of the Quinte West OPP Detachment, responding to information, arrested two adult males, who were located on Elgin Street, in Trenton Ward, City of Quinte West.
Arrested were Joseph HOGGAR, 23 of Ajax, ON and Joseph CASSIBO, 18 of Mississauga, ON. They are charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in cocaine and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. Joseph HOGGAR is additionally charged with Identity Fraud after providing police with a false driver’s license.
Police seized $3500 worth of crack cocaine, $2200 cash, and numerous cell phones.
Joseph CASSIBO was released with a court date in September 2013.
Joseph HOGGAR was held in custody pending a bail hearing on the 21st day of August 2013.
The Investigation is continuing.
