(South Dundas) – On August 29, 2014 at approximately 11:48pm, SD&G OPP officers were conducting Reduce Impaired Drivers Everywhere (RIDE) checks on Ottawa Street in the Village of Morrisburg, South Dundas Township. Officers intercepted a vehicle observed avoiding the initiative. The stop revealed the male driver was under the influence of alcohol. A small quantity of suspected marihuana was also seized.
Jordan TURNER (22) of South Dundas was arrested and is charged with;
– Driving a Motor Vehicle While Ability Impaired
– Driving With More Than 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood
– Possession of a Controlled Substance
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on September 30, 2014.
