(CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) – On Thursday November 22, 2012 at approximately 2:28am, County of Wellington OPP officers were conducting RIDE spot checks on Highway 6 south at College Ave west, outside of Guelph. At this time and location, officers spoke with the driver of a 2011 Honda. The officers became suspicious of the male, who was unable to provide his driver’s licence. Investigation revealed the male driver provided police with a false name. Further investigation revealed the female passenger was in possession of a small quantity of marijuana.
Jordan Mosely, age 24 of Pickering On, has been charged with Obstruct Police, Personation with Intent and Breach of Probation, all contrary to the Criminal Code, as well as Drive No Licence, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He was released on an Appearance Notice with a Guelph court date of December 21, 2012 to answer to the charges.
Sheleeza Hinds, age 29 of Ajax On, has been charged with Possession of Marijuana, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. She was released on an Appearance Notice with a Guelph court date of December 18, 2012 to answer to the charges.
