(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand County Detachment have charged a 21-year-old in connection with several offences that were committed throughout Halidmand County, Ontario at various addresses.
The Haldimand County OPP Street Crime Unit along with members from the Crime Unit have arrested and charged a male in connection with several incidents that have occurred in the months of April and May of 2016.
Police began to investigate several occurrences in April of 2016 after being called to investigate break and enters at Ancaster Conveying Systems, Hewitt’s Dairy Bar, and a Shell Gas Station. OPP also investigated a Mischief on a walking trail north of Haldimand Road 66 and provided assistance to the Hamilton Police Service with a Robbery at a Petro Canada Gas Station located on Highway 6.
In the month of May 2016, police continued to investigate theft of motor vehicles, a beak and enter at the West Haldimand General Hospital and a Robbery at Mac’s Variety in the town of Jarvis.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 21-year-old Jonathon CHECHALK of Haldimand County, Ontario with the following offences.

He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
