(Cavan-Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped and investigated a speeding driver on Highway 115 just after 1:30pm yesterday.
The officer noticed a strong odour of marihuana in the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, police seized 4oz of cocaine.
Jonathan Paul DUBE (age 23) of Whitby, ON has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and traffic in a controlled substance under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. The accused is due to appear in Peterborough Provincial Court on March 05, 2015.
