Johnathan BAILEY – Drunk Driving, Resist

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On September 4, 2015, at approximately 00:32 a.m. the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle crash on Woodvale Drive.

A parked white Dodge car was struck on private property by a black Chevrolet car.

Officers determined the male driver of the Chevrolet had been drinking alcohol. He was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing.

As a result of the police investigation, 21-year-old Johnathan BAILEY, from Thames Centre, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, and resist peace officer, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear, and is scheduled to appear in a London court on October 20, 2015, to answer to the charges.
