(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Thursday October 25, 2012, a Perth County OPP officer stopped a vehicle on Hwy. 23 just south of Listowel. While speaking with the driver the officer detected the odour of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. The driver failed a roadside breath test and was transported to the North Perth OPP Detachment in Listowel, where he also failed Intoxilyzer breath tests.
John SUBJECT (50) of Huron East has been charged with “operation with over 80 mgs of alcoholâ€Â. He has a court date scheduled in Listowel, at the Ontario court of Justice on November 28, 2012, to answer to this charge. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension, and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
