John HODGKINSON – Impaired Driving

(ALNWICK-HALDIMAND TWP, ON) –On July 21, 2015 at 12 noon Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a vehicle in the ditch along Highway 401 on the eastbound side, east of the Lyle St exit.

Upon arrival, officers noted that the driver of the red Nissan Rogue had been drinking. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment to minor injuries. As a result of tests performed at the hospital, John HODGKINSON age 53 of Deux-Montagnes, Quebec is charged with Impaired Care & Control of a motor vehicle, Having Care & Control of a motor vehicle while his blood alcohol content exceeded 80mg in 100ml of blood and driving without a licence.

He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on August 12, 2015.
