Joel ZYTA Hits Curb – Drunk Driving

(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Saturday September 07, 2013 around 2:45 a.m. an Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol observed a south bound Ford pickup truck swerve in its lane and strike the curb on Main Street North in Milverton. The male driver failed a roadside breath test, and was transported to the Listowel OPP Detachment where he also failed two Intoxilyzer breath tests.

Joel ZYTA (22) of the Municipality of North Perth has been charged with “drive motor vehicle – over 80 mgs of alcohol”. He will have to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on Monday October 07, 2013 to answer to this charge. He also received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his truck was impounded for seven days.
