JEWELLERY STOLEN IN DAYTIME BREAK AND ENTER

(BRIGHTON, ON) – Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a report of a daytime break and enter that occurred at a White’s Road residence just outside of the Town of Brighton on July 23, 2013.

Sometime between 7:45 am and 3:00 pm on Tuesday July 23, while the home owners were out, unknown persons broke into the home and stole over $12,000 worth of assorted jewellery namely: a Princess cut, white gold, 0.4 carat diamond ring valued at approximately $5,020 and an Omega Constellation 35mm Chronometer (watch) valued at approximately $4,000. The diamond ring has the serial number etched into the stone. Also included in the theft was a 17” Acer laptop computer valued at approximately $1,500.

Northumberland OPP Crime Unit and Street Response Team members are investigating this break in.
