(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On October 23rd, 2015, at approximately 12:15am officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police received a call regarding a motor vehicle that was involved in a collision on King Street, Trenton.
When officers arrived on scene the vehicle involved in the collision had left the scene but was located a short time later on Henry Street. Officers stopped the driver of the motor vehicle and after an investigation it was determined the drivers ability to operate a vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
Jessica STEELE, 27 years old, of Trenton has been charged with the following:
· Driving While Ability Impaired- motor vehicle (Alcohol)
· Fail or Refuse to Provide Sample
· Drive motor vehicle – no licence
The 27 year old female is to appear at The Ontario Court of Justice, 15 Bridge Street West in Belleville on November 5th, 2015 to answer to the charges.
