(Ottawa, ON) – July 22, 2015, at approximately 5:48 pm, an officer with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Ottawa Detachment observed a motor vehicle being driven in a dangerous manner on Highway 417 eastbound near the Moodie Drive overpass.
The vehicle made contact with the centre median and an adjacent vehicle near the Bayshore interchange. There were no injuries as a result of the motor vehicle collision.
As a result of the investigation, the female driver, 23 year old Jessica LAWN of Ottawa, is charged with:
Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle; and
Driving While Ability Impaired.
She is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Ottawa on September 16, 2015.
