(TAY TOWNSHIP, ON) – On July 27, 2015 at 7:10 p.m. members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a motor vehicle hitting a tree on Grandview Road in Tay Township. Following the collision, the occupants ran away from the vehicle.
Further investigation resulted in the driver, Jessica Ann BALABAN (age 21) from Tay Township being charged with:
– Dangerous Driving contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Resist Peace Officer contrary to the Criminal code of Canada
– Fail to Comply with undertaking or recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
