(GRAND BEND, ON) –On Sunday June 14, 2015, 7:30 a.m., Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was dispatched to a residence on Woodward Avenue, Grand Bend, ON regarding a break and enter complaint.
Lambton OPP attended the location and was able to obtain a description of a motor vehicle that may have been involved in the offence. This motor vehicle was observed by Huron OPP a short time later on Orchard Line, Huron County. The male driver of the motor vehicle fled on foot from the vehicle, as OPP approached. Huron OPP contained the area and the male party was eventually apprehended.
While in custody, Lambton OPP received information that the accused sexually assaulted a female party on Saturday June 13, 2015 while in the Grand Bend area.
Jesse William LINDSAY, age 29, of Kitchener ON was arrested and charged with:
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
Sexual Assault
The accused will appear in the Sarnia Ontario Court of Justice on Monday August 24, 2015.
