Jesse Emmett GARLOW Wanted By Police

(Otonabee-South Monaghan Township, ON) – Member of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a couple at the Nite Owl Motel yesterday just before 1:00pm.

An observant officer noticed a female unloading jewelry boxes from her vehicle at the motel. The female along with a male were detained. The investigation revealed stolen property from at least two residences. The male suspect fled the area after damaging an OPP cruiser.

Kristin Lee STEELE (age 32) of Peterborough, ON is charged with:

· two counts of Break and Enter

· possession of property obtained by crime

· possession of break-in tools

Jesse Emmett GARLOW (age 30) of Peterborough, ON is wanted in relation to charges:

· escape lawful custody

· mischief in relation to the damaged cruiser

· two counts of break and enter

· possession of property obtained by crime

· possession of break –in tools

The accuses Kristin STEELE remains in custody pending a show cause hearing on unrelated charges with the Peterborough Police Service.
