Jesse DEMPSTER – Drunk Driving

(NOTTAWASAGA, ON) On August 16, 2013, at approximately 8:06pm, a Nottawasaga Officer was conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle travelling northbound on County Road 10 in Essa Township.

During the course of the traffic stop, the Officer determined that the driver was in fact driving impaired, the driver was arrested and the vehicle towed from that location.

Charged is 22 year old Jesse DEMPSTER of Clearview Township, he is charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Over 80 mgs, court is set for September 26th, 2013 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford, Ontario.

On a separate traffic stop on the10th Sideroad of the Town of New Tecumseth, Officers stopped the vehicle for a Highway Traffic Act infraction and this led to an alcohol investigation of the driver, the driver provided a sample in the warn range and was suspended from driving for 7 days as well as had his vehicle towed.

In a traffic stop on Highway 89 at the 10th Sideroad of the Town of New Tecumseth, Police stopped a vehicle travelling westbound down the hill, the vehicle was travelling 144 km/hour in the 80 km/hour zone, charged is 37 year old Richard ANDERSON of Etobicoke, ON. His drivers licence was suspended and vehicle impounded for seven days.
