(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 22 year old male with Stunt driving after stopping a grey 2009 Pontiac car at a County Highway #54, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Saturday March 21st, 2015 at approximately 3:38 pm a Police officer was conducting R.A.D.A.R. patrol on County Hwy #54 when a Pontiac car registered over 50 kilometres an hour (kph) over the posted speed limit of 80 kph.
As a result of the speed the vehicle was stopped and the 22 year old driver identified as Jerry TOMPKINS of Haldimand County, ON has been charged with Stunt Driving. His driver’s licence has been suspended and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charge.
