(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 42-year-old female after police were called to investigate an incident at a Lakeshore Road, Houghton, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at approximately 10:44 a.m., police responded to the address after being contacted by a concerned resident.
Through the course of investigation, it has been determined that a female became involved in a verbal altercation with another male while brandishing a weapon.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged 42-year-old Jennifer Lynn WILLBANKS of Norfolk County, Ontario with assault with a weapon and two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
She is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
