(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Friday November 12, 2010, shortly after 9 p.m. a Perth County OPP officer was called to attend on Hwy. 8 between Sebringville and Mitchell where a motorist had checked the well being of the driver who had stopped her car on the side of the highway. The driver appeared to be intoxicated.
Upon speaking to the driver the officer detected obvious signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville for breath tests.
As a result of these tests Jennifer Kalbfleisch (24) of Oakville was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and with operating a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs. of alcohol in 100 ml of blood.
She is to appear in Stratford Criminal Court on Monday, December 13, 2010 to answer to these charges. She was also served an immediate 90 day drivers licence suspension.
