Jennifer Joanne LAFEE – Drunk Driving

(CALEDON, ON) – On Wednesday, July 24, 2013 shortly before 6 pm, a citizen contacted police to report an erratic driver travelling southbound on Regional Road 50 in the Village of Bolton. Officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the area and located the suspect vehicle stopped at a red light at the intersection of George Bolton Parkway. The officers activated their emergency equipment to intercept the vehicle and to determine the driver’s sobriety. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officers immediately detected a strong odour of alcohol on the driver’s breath.

As a result of the investigation, Jennifer Joanne LAFEE, 30, of Halton Hills was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Over 80 milligrams of Alcohol.

The Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and her motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.

The accused will make her first appearance at the Ontario Court of Ontario on August 1, 2013.
