(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) On Wednesday September 24, 2013, at approximately 4:15 pm, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) officer Adam Houser was conducting stationary radar on Fife Road east of Wellington Road 32, Guelph-Eramosa Twp.
The officer observed a 2007 Nissan Altima travelling westbound well above the posted speed limit. Police locked the vehicle on radar at 123km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
Jenna BROOKS age 20 of Kitchener has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. The driver’s licence has been suspended and vehicle seized for a period of 7 days as per statute. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on November 20, 2013 to answer to the charge.
