(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – The East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call on January 14, 2016 at approximately 12:49 a.m. regarding a male driving an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) erratically on Hirshhorn Avenue in Elliot Lake.
Police attended, patrolled the area. A short time later the ATV and the driver were located by police.
Through investigation Jeffrey Dean LAMPI was charged with the following:
Driving While Ability Impaired – motor vehicle as per sec. 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Cole of Canada
Driving with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood as per sec. 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada
Driving while Disqualified as per sec. 259(4) of the Criminal Code of Canada
The accused is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court of March 3, 2016.
