(HORNEPAYNE, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Hornepayne Detachment began investigating a complaint of sexual assault on March 17, 2014. The assault was reported to have occurred during the early hours of March 16 in a residence in Hornepayne.
On March 19, 2014 the accused, 20 year old Jeffrey BRAULT of Hornepayne was arrested by the OPP.
He stands charged with the following criminal charges;
Sexual Assault
Fail to Comply with Recognizance – 3 counts
Fail to Comply with Probation Order – 2 counts
The accused was held in custody to attend a bail hearing in Sault Ste Marie. He has since been released from custody and is scheduled to attend Hornpayne Ontario Court of Justice on June 5, 2014.
