(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On December 3, 2016 at approximately 6:55 a.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Officer was patrolling Wellington Road 124 near 7th Line, Guelph-Eramosa Township. The Officer observed a man driving westbound in a 2000 Honda at a speed well above the posted speed limit and was locked on radar at approximately 130 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
43-year-old Jasvir ARAICH of Brampton has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and will appear in Guelph Court on January 4, 2017. His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
