(RENFREW, ON) – The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking the public for assistance in locating Jason SMITH, 33, of Renfrew. He is wanted on a warrant in the 1st Instance for several Criminal Code offences.
On January 25, 2015 officers responded to a serious assault in Arnprior. During the investigation the accused fled in a black 2013 Dodge Ram pick-up truck Ontario Lic. AC38867.
He is wanted on charges of:
Careless Use of a Firearm
2 counts of Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
Assault
Flight from Police
Police believe the accused may be armed and members of the public are advised not to approach him. If you see or know the whereabouts of Jason SMITH or his vehicle call the OPP immediately at 9-1-1.
