(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County detachment has charged a 32-year-old male after police stopped a motor vehicle at a Gilbertson Drive, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, January 7, 2017, at approximately 3:45 a.m., police were contacted by a concerned citizen about a vehicle that was travelling southbound through Waterford, Ontario. Officers patrolling the area located the vehicle which failed to stop for police. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated at a Gilbertson Drive address.
As a result of investigation, police have charged, 32-year-old Jason Robert HARRINGTON of Norfolk County, Ontario with impaired driving, driving over the legal limit, fail to stop for police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, possession of Marihuana and driving while under suspension
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
