Jason POWELL – Drunk Driving, Driving While Crowded, etc

(Bancroft, ON) – On October the 6th, 2016, officers from the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 28 in the Township of Faraday. Officers located the vehicle and observed the vehicle swerving within the lane. Officers stopped the vehicle and upon approaching the driver they determined that he had been consuming alcohol.

As a result of their investigation, officers have charged Jason POWELL, 43 years from Barrie, with Impaired Driving, and Drive Over 80mgs Alcohol in 100mls of Blood. He was also charged with Driving with Open Liquor, Driving While Crowded and Driving a Motor Vehicle with No Permit.

The accused is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on the 8th of November, 2016.
