Jason Paul ZISTER – Drunk Driving

(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On May 25, 2014 at approximately 7:57 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the driver of a 2004 GMC Sierra that was being driven erratically on Wellington Road 7 near the Second Line (Nichol Township) in Centre Wellington Township.

Upon speaking with the driver police discovered that he had been drinking as well showed signs of possible impairment. The driver was administered specialized field sobriety testing which he performed poorly. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired driving and transported to the OPP detachment for further testing.

Jason Paul ZISTER aged 29 Greenock Township has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal court on June 13, 2014 to answer to the charges.

The Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
